When: 03/15/2021
QIC: Rusty
PAX (14): Turbine, Chalupa, MillerTime, Sprocket, Pass Interference, Ollie, Foley, Snax, PonyBoy, Woody, GOAT, Zima, Brutus
Preamble:
It’s my birthday and I feel great. Everyone will need a cinder. Some extras were available. Playlist is locked and loaded (from Lionel Ritchie to TOOL to Paul Simon to the Doors).
Warm-O-Rama:
Toy Soldier x 12
Weed Picker x 10
Monkey Humpers x 10
Hillbilly x 10
The Thang:
“On your 6!” To Lionel Ritchie’s smash hit “All Night Long”, the PAX will do reverse LBCs with their cinder block. Every time they hear “All Night”, they will do a chest press.
Partner up! One partner will cusack around the parking lot with their cinder. While the other partner will do the following exercises (all are team totals, not individual):
Round 1:
- 43 Diamond Merkins
- 86 Swings w/block
- 129 Squats w/block
Round 2:
- 43 Deadlifts
- 86 Lunges (single count)
- 129 Rows
One set of 43 overhead press on your own. Head to the baseball diamond.
Still with your partner, we break into 2 groups (4 groups on one team, 3 on another). Each team has one set of partners wheel barrow around the infield, while the other team does the same in the opposite direction. Both start from home plate, one group heads to first, while the other heads to third and ends back at home plate. The rest of the PAX are work their arms – 5 bicep curls, 5 skull crushers, until it’s their turn. Each partnered group needs to go twice. Once complete, head back to the flag.
Started a round of 43 big boy sit-ups, but didn’t complete. The clock hit 6:15am!
COT:
Prayed for Zima’s wife as she has an appointment this week with a doctor to determine if she’ll need surgery to address her cancer. Also, prayers for Woody’s friend in rehab. Mentioned the blood drive and encouraged participation in the event.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
Grateful for this group, who continues to push me. Also, grateful that my two son’s participate every morning (despite bickering at each other) and is welcomed and encouraged by the PAX. Thankful for both Sprocket and MillerTime, who brought donuts and coffee. We have a solid group of men who will bust each other’s chops in a fun way, but also very supportive when one of our PAX needs it. Thanks for coming out this morning men!
