Preamble:

Again, the lady in the red puffy jacket had taken the stage as she stood and watched her workout members do burpees and run. Meanwhile, YHC stood aside to see which men would choose to accelerate this MLK holiday. As YHC stood in the just above freezing gloom, Smoked walked over carrying the ShovelFlag he was entrusted with last week. Longhaul continues to dedicate himself to acceleration despite his diagnosis. Zohan made the trip from the other side of Johns Creek to see what HoJo is all about. Birdie’s brother YouTube has remained steadfast in making HoJo his AO. Fresh off his VQ at The Coliseum, Radar returned to his AO to expand his impact. And Gilligan has staked his claim that Suwanee Town Center is the place to be in the gloom of Monday.

YHC gave a quick 5 Core Principles reminder with a disclaimer and we moseyed over to behind the stage to warm up.

Warm-O-Rama:

Before any of the PAX knew what was in store for this MLK Day beatdown, we warmed up with some Chinooks, SSH, Goofballs, Imperial Walkers, and Moroccan Night Clubs. Zohan reminded us that we looked like goofballs while doing the warmup.

The Thang:

The PAX then moseyed to behind City Hall for the MLK Day beatdown titled, “Longevity Has Its Place” which is a quote from MLK regarding his belief that he would not live long, so his impact must be strong. For the PAX of HoJo to have impact on 1F in the gloom this morning, they would have to complete the Board of Pain:

YHC is not sure if anyone was able to complete the BoP due to time, but several got close. We then moseyed back to the stage to finish up with 6 MOM where several PAX led us in some American Hammers (Zohan), Box Cutters (YouTube), Freddie Mercuries (Longhaul), Monkey Humpers (Val), Heel Tappers (Radar), Peter Parkers (Zohan), and Diamond Merkins (Val). Time was called, hearts pumping, sweating in the cold.

COT:

YHC reminded the PAX that the COT was a time to share anything they needed support or prayer for and that what was said in the COT stays in the COT. Prayers for Zohan and Val.

A couple PAX had to get to work, but 5 stayed behind for a Coffeeteria with a discussion on the QSource F1: Disruption.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

YHC shared that this AO was started for selfish reasons; so that the drive in the morning wasn’t so far. What quickly became a realization was that there are so many men who need what this group has to offer. Strong male leadership is frowned upon by Goo. But, Goo can’t stop men from taking the DRP to accelerate in leadership of themselves, their M, 2.0s, churches, communities, and Mammon. And it starts with accountability with other men who share virtues and are willing to lock shields. Together, we can make a difference and bring about the Disruption that is so needed.
