Election Day @ Atlas

Preamble:

A large group at Atlas today.  I expected the Godfather (iBeam) to join, but he didn’t.  Some early traffic in the parking lot.  Is this place where you vote for today’s election?

Warm-O-Rama:

Windmill x 10

Toy Soldier x 10

Monkey Humpers x 10

Mountain Climbers x 10

The Thang:

Everybody grab a cinder.  We’ll do three rounds.  In each round, you will do a descending set: 30, 20, 10 of both exercises.

Round 1: Curls  + Lunges

Round 2: Skull Crushers + Overhead Squats

Round 3: Cinder Swings + V-Ups

Keep your cinder.  Everybody grab an Atlas Stone and a black mat.  Two cinders in the middle of the circle.  Each PAX will carry both cinders to the fence and back.  While one per is doing that, the rest of the PAX will do the following:

Set 1: Merkins (feet on the stone) + Overhead Press w/cinder

Set 2: Squats w/stone + Chest press w/cinder (holding it vertically)

Finish with a round of Captain Thor – Ratio 1: 4.  1 Big Boy sit up w/the cinder to 4 American Hammers.  We made it to 8:32 before we called time!

COT:

Praying for our country and state considering today is election day for the Senate run-off.  Happy to say good-bye to the ads and the random text messages from strangers.
