Preamble:
17 Hearty Men gathered in the gloom for another Seles beatdown. The air was a little thinner with a light breeze compared to Tuesday’s sweltering conditions, so all the PAX were thankful for that! YHC brought back the old traditional Jacob’s ladder along with the newest addition at the school, the tennis court steep hill challenge. All the PAX were well-pleased at the end!
Warm-O-Rama:
12 Baryshnikovs (ea. leg), 6 Dry Dock Crabs, 12 Side Straddle Hops, 6 Daft Punks, 12 Toy Soldiers, 6 Stone Mountains i.c.
The Thang:
Mosey to Stairs and make single file line for run up and down the stairs with arms up on the uphill 5X
Circle up at flag pole for Mary: 17 High Leg Raises i.c. 3X
Mosey to steep grass hill by tennis courts and partner up: #1 Wall sits while #2 runs up steep hill to benches or bleachers at the tennis court for 11 Dips and then back to change positions with #1 3X
Mosey to base of Vanderlyn Hill for Traditional Jacob’s Ladder: Run to top, 1 Burpee, Run down and back up adding 1 Burpee each time up to 7 Burpees at the top.
Mosey to Seles stop for Mary: 17 Box-cutters i.c. 3X
Mosey back to start for 4 Corners: #1 – 10 Merkins, #2 – 20 Sumo Squats, #3 – 30 LBCs, #4 – 40 Arm Circles, repeat to finish time (only 1.25 completed)
COT:
Discussion of moving back to 5:30 but less interest from the majority of the PAX, so agreed to keep it at 6 am until school starts in August. FNG had to be named (thanks CIA for bringing him along; I’m sure you’ve already added his email to the F3 group!), so since he strongly supported not starting the beatdowns earlier, he is now christened as Sunshine.
Rambo took us out.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
Wishing fun (and safety!) for our F3 brothers on the F2 adventure at Leon’s place in the mountains this weekend. A double shot of Seles will happen on Saturday and should not be missed!
