The Inaugural B&B Relay

Preamble:

YHC was excited to lead this morning as we continue the Q4 Rubicon Challenge! Pleasant weather helped turn out 11 PAX, including one FNG.  But now is not the time to get comfortable (when is?), and with this in mind we got to work.

Warm-O-Rama:

After a lengthy Preamble for our new & newish PAX, we moseyed up and around the Swimming Pool parking lot.  Warm-O-Rama included:

Rocktober continues! (how many CSAUPs do we have going?)

After a quick mosey over to the rock pile for a medium sized coupon, we hopped over to the edge of the main parking lot for a modified DORA.  With Partners, we did

100x Curls

100x American Hammers

100x Goblet Squats

100x Elves on the Shelf

100x Scull Crushers

First time YHC attempted the Elf on the Shelf, and will be feeling that one in my back tomorrow.

Thang #2

After we deposited the rocks back, it was B&B Relay Time. No, not burgers and brews, Bear Crawls x Burpee Broad Jumps!  YHC had the group form two lines/teams, starting at the 3rd base line.  From the back, the last man bear crawled to the front of their respective line.  When they reached the front, the next PAX went.  Plank position while you waited for your turn. Process continued all the way to the warning track, at which point we reversed back and did the same thing, except with Burpee Broad Jumps (Air Chair while in line).  In the end team 1 barely prevailed, though with probably more modification that we’d like to admit.

COT:

-Prayers for the families and community dealing with with the passing of the two young children in the early morning fire yesterday.  I tried to find the Go Fund me page, but couldn’t locate it.  If anyone sees it, please post it on Slack.

-Praise for Pitstop for getting his house under contract, and potentially finding his new home!

-Prayers for all HIMs looking for work, starting a new job, or opening up their own shop.  Seems to be lots of this going on, don’t forget to check out the F3 Networking channel on Slack for support.
