Preamble:
It was refreshing to have to have morning temperatures back into the low 70’s and 9 PAX were at the flag at 5:30 ready to go. We moseyed up Old Milton Pkwy and to the parking lot in front of the swimming pool for the Disclaimer and Warm-up
Warm-O-Rama:
- 12 Windmills
- 12 Side Straddle Hops
- 12 Imperial Walkers
- 12 Weed Pickers
The Thang:
After a brief explanation, the PAX partnered up, grabbed a coupon and met at the SW corner of the pool parking lot. Partner 1 performed the exercises listed below while Partner 2 ran around the perimeter of the parking lot then back to switch with Partner 1. The initially planned running route was a ½ mile loop around the baseball fields, but confusion and lack of lighting required YHC to adjust this plan. This rotation continued until the prescribed number of each exercise was achieved.
- 150 Overhead Presses
- 150 Coupon Squats
- 150 Big Boy Sit-ups with Coupon
- 150 Curls
- 150 Merkins
- 150 American Hammer
- 150 Skull Crushers
Most groups were well into their Skull Crushers and we called in the six at 6:10am, returned coupons and began our mosey back to the flag. With 3 minutes remaining we had three rounds of mary consisting of the kobe, LBC’s and flutter kicks.

Thanks to the men of Rubicon for having me this morning – it was an honor to lead this group! With limited previous Rubicon posts I came in to the Q nervous to lead, but I was welcomed by all and immediately put at ease. Thanks again and welcome FNG Tip!
