Preamble:

YHC staged the truck at the rec center across the park for a surprise gift later in the Q because YHC can’t be considered a runner…
Moseyed in to see one Wrecker (Rusty) waiting…. Only one… Thanks runners…

The cars slowly pulled in the lot, maybe 6 pax in total at the flag.  YHC thought these were just normal numbers and was going to begin, when another 8 pax pulling a ruse came running in from the gloom at the last minute.

Warm-O-Rama:

We moseyed so fast YHC had to run backwards so everyone could keep up.

Circled in the parking lot where we found all the extra cars the pax stashed away from view.

Multiple exercises where performed all while Cookie continuing to razz the Q about the “new” exercises, which made me want to get to the truck all that much quicker.

The Thang:

Partner ATLAS 3-2-1

At the truck YHC instructed to take a stone and grab a partner. Surprised at the HUGE numbers at the Rubicon I was glad I brought a couple extra stones.  Dunphy and myself were honored with the 50# stone.

100 stone cleans
Partner 1 – runs the paved loop
Partner 2 – performs as many stone cleans
Partners switch until all cleans are performed

75 stone clean squat
Partner 1 – runs the paved loop
Partner 2 – performs as many stone clean squats
Partners switch until all cleans are performed

50 stone clean squat press
Partner 1 – runs the paved loop
Partner 2 – performs as many stone clean squat presses
Partners switch until all cleans are performed

As time was approaching an energy levels draining, Zima shouts if they should perform Mary for the six?…
To my surprise, they were done…  Next time, I’m only bringing the 50# stones

YHC called to finish the lap and we returned the stone to the truck.

I don’t know how they do it at the Rubicon, but when the Q says back to the flag, there shouldn’t be any walking….

The flag(s) were reached, Mary was had, and time hit 0615.

YHC pitched the Atlas on Tuesdays at RHS stadium parking lot #MAGA

Cookie mentioned the mission trip that Cookie, Lowes, Haha, and myself were on almost a year ago.

Cookie passed out the Orange Bandannas in remembrance of Darth Visor, who died last year during a beatdown at Big Creek.  Wear orange all month of August and if you are attending the GrowRuck, which lands on Darth Visor’s birthday, hang a bandanna or a piece of orange off your rucks.
