We were all still whining about our Iron Pax pain from Tuesday, so after a quick disclaimer…sort of…we moseyed up to the pavilion.
SSH, Weed Pickers, Hillbillies
After the warmup a scared look came over Nachos face. “Did you put those there?” he asked. We turned to see four cinders lined up perfectly. After IP week two, no one wanted to see a block! No…I didn’t put those there, but let’s get away from them quickly.
We started out with some 11s at the pavilion. Step ups at the pavilion, and dips at the end of the path at the far pavilion. Start with 10 dips and one step up. Either I was in slow motion or the boys were shot out of a cannon. They pushed the pace…all morning.
After 11s we went to the football field by the flag for a quarter pounder…con queso.
start at the goal line and run to the 25…25 Merkins. Run backwards to the goal line.
Add cheese which was 10 burpees.
run to the 50…50 squats. Run backwards to the goal line. Add the cheese.
Run to the far 25…75 mountain climbers. Run backwards to the goal line. Add the cheese.
Run to the far goal line. 100 SSH. Run backwards to the goal line. Add cheese.
as I mentioned earlier the boys were going fast (think Ricky Bobby). So YHC added in some 4 corners.
At each corner perform one exercise of 15 reps. sumo squats, slow lunges, wide Merkins, diamond merkins.
finished up with Mary with each of us picking our favorites.
Dolly, Freddy Mercury (side note…Sculley likes to count to 30), Alphabet writing(Nantan likes big block letters), and LBC flutters.
we were all gassed, so we did it right. Well done gents.
Ha Ha shared with us his thoughts from 9/11 and reminded us that everything is a gift. Life, family, our abilities…and we never know when our stories may change. Thanks for the encouragement to fully embrace each moment and be thankful for everything we have. We’re all blessed beyond measure.
