11 HIMs arrived in the (hopefully) coronavirus-free gloom looking for a challenging beatdown. YHC tried to deliver just that.
Since we exceeded 9 pax, we divided in half with El Matador Co-Qing.
The two groups separated, circled up, and proceeded with the usual warm-up suspects: SSH, weedpickers, Imperial Walkers, Sun Gods, etc. Then both groups moseyed to the FOD hill for three rounds of burpee broadjumps to the top of the hill. Many thanks were mumbled to Miller Time for requesting this exercise many moons ago at my first Q.
Moseyed to the Community Center field for BEACH BODY BLACKJACK and maintained social distancing.
Round 1: 1 rep leg raise. Run to the other side of the field for 20 hand-release merkins. Run back.
Round 2: 2 leg raises & 19 hand-release merkins.
Round 20: 20 leg raises & 1 hand-release merkin.
The pain came on quickly. Time was eventually called. I don’t believe anyone finished it, but Miller Time got to Round 19.
Total reps for each exercise = 210 if completed.
Moseyed back to the flag for Mary – including extra flutter kicks and merkins.
The Big Announcement – we have new Nantan! Ha-Ha has faithfully served for 2 years and is stepping down. COOKIE is a natural fit and has agreed to fill those big shoes. Congrats Cookie!
