Preamble:

13 PAX took the daily red pill and got stronger because of it. YHC warned the PAX in his pre-blast that we would be taking a field trip off campus. And that we did.

Warm-O-Rama:

Warmup in the pool parking lot. Usual stuff.

The Thang:

  • After a quick reminder to the PAX to use our "inside" voices to not arouse the neighbors, we crossed the street onto Wills Dr for a good ole' Murpee Mile. 5 burpees at the speed humps and 10 merkins at cross streets. Plank for the six at the end of the road.
  • Next moseyed over to the bottom of Peanut Hill for some partner fun. One PAX would start bear crawling to the top while the other would run to the top, turn around and take the spot of his partner. Do that all the way until both PAX reached the top.
  • Time to head back to campus so we finished our Murpee mile on the way back, then headed to the playground for a last bit of fun
  • Same partners, one now does 5-10 pull-ups while the other is in wall chair. Rinse and repeat.
  • Back to the flag for 1 minute of Mary

COT:

When it was all said and done, we ended up getting a 5K in. For the non-runners, YHC believes it was a good push. For the "runners" it was also a good push. Win/win. A few prayers were spoken for family members. Announcements included the NLB beatdown this Saturday hosted by the Windjammer crew.
