PAX (5): Cheneral, Macbeth, Speedo, Tar Heel, Tupperware
Preamble:
In the early days of this AO, we really never know who might show up. So we plan and have something difficult to try. Today would be no different.
Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey to the middle pavilion parking lot for a quick warmup.
A little known fact about ERP is that the name of the main road is called AC Lavender Drive. I finally thought to ask ChatGPT who he was and discovered it is likely named in honor of Dr. Adam Clint "Clint" Lavender Jr., a respected local figure who passed away in 1987 at the age of 50. So, in honor of Dr. AC Lavender, here we go.
The Thang:
Another oddity about ERP is a sign near the middle pavilion that simply says "195 Feet". It doesn't say what is 195 feet but another technology called Google Maps suggests it's the width of the parking lot. So, in honor of AC Lavender and this odd sign we kicked things off.
Pax were told they would do 195 merkins. Not all at once of course. Do merkins until you are unable to do more then run a lap and pick up where you left off. This was tough. So tough, in fact, that we changed the merkin currency where a diamond or hand-release merkin would count as two toward the 195. After the first guy reached 195 we called that one done.
Next round, 195 LBCs each. Same concept...run when you need to.
After a walking 15-count, we moseyed up to the pull up bars for a reverse morning call of sorts. First pax went to the pull-up bars and performed a dead hang while the other pax performed 5 burpees each. R&R for the remaining pax.
Run back down the hill toward the 195 sign while YHC did some math in my head. Stop at that little utility road that goes up toward the perpetually-stinky bathrooms. 195 divided by 5 pax = 39 big boy sit ups...on the grass...facing uphill. Getting tired? Take a lap.
Down to the newly renovated bleachers where we passed the mystery tarp and lined up on the stairs for 39 calf raises.
Just enough time to head to the rec center for a 195 second wall sit. That's a long time to wall sit in case you didn't know.
Back to the flag for 15 seconds of Lindsey Lohans.
COT:
Prayers for leadership opportunity for me.

Prayers for my friend David.
Prayers for Macbeth's M for comfort in her last 26 days of pregnancy and for the little girl that will have an amazing set of parents.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
Thanks for supporting the region's newest AO. It'll take some time and perseverance to get some traction and it's going to be fun in the process. Thanks for playing along and working hard.
