Walk this way…

Preamble:

I butchered the disclaimer.  We had a newish person so I wanted to get the disclaimer out, but we’re doing a walk. Do I disclaimer a walk?  Meh…we moved to stretching and then we were off.

Warm-O-Rama:

Some light stretching to loosen the legs.

These walk and talks create opportunity to connect more.  Q kicked it off by asking PAX conversational questions:

“What’s a struggle, a joy and a hope you’re experiencing in life right now?”

The Thang:

We rucked.  We walked.  We talked.

Walked a mile down Brumbelow then back.  Some of us answered the questions, but not all of us were able to.  Good conversation was had.

COT:

• Brew Ruck June 7 starts at 11 at Gate City Brewing.
• Prayers for Floater as he navigates the demands of family, work and school.
• Prayers for Fuzzy as he chaperones Scout camp with his son.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

I try to create unstructured time with my family to ask questions and stay connected with them.  These ruck walks are great unstructured time with brothers of the gloom which creates opportunities to ask questions about life.  You never know what someone is going through until you ask.  It may be significant, it may be light…but always best to ask.  Its a good practice in presence with family and with others we’re connected to.
