Reverse Birthday! Hill Run Fun

Preamble:

Stroller says "hills pay the bills" so let's find out!

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey down the road. Light stretching.

The Thang:

Mosey to the zebra crossing at the base of the back hill. Since today was my "reverse birthday" 6/3 instead of 3/6. I instructed the PAX to:
  • Mosey to the top of the hill
  • On the way down, do 3 burpees at each 6 lamp posts
We did 5 rounds until we needed a rest. For "rest" we did:
  • Bernie up the hill (all the way), do 34 merkins at the top, mosey back
At the base, Q called for a few things waiting for the group to return. Then, back to the original plan for 2 more rounds (mosey up, burpees on the way down). By this point, we needed another "rest". This time, for "rest":
  • Bernie to the lamp post + 6 alpha ct Bonnie Blairs at each post. To the top!
Finally, it was back to 2 or 3 regular mosey to the top (w/o burpees). We ended up right around 2.5 miles and a ton of burpees.

COT:

  • Spandex's wife (Nicole) mother (Debbie)
  • Postal's friend Scott passed away from a battle with cancer
