Mission: Lumberghible

Preamble:

Yes, I knew I would not be there when I signed up for the Q on this day. My initial thought was to pre record an entire beat down and have it played back while pax did the work without me there. After seeing Final Reckoning (4 stars) last weekend the idea morphed.  No-See-Um is always game to support my ideas and so I made sure he had the needed materials and set up the idea in the preblast:

“Good evening Agents. This is Director lumbergh. The Rubicon has been infiltrated by a rogue group known only by the name of the Syndicate. This group means to question your abilities and drive division within you ranks. Intel suggests the Syndicate has already gained access to a remote AO based in Anchorage, Alaska known as ‘The Frozen Chosen’. I am following this lead and will be en route to the airport leaving Rubicon vulnerable to rogue agents. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to assemble a team and meet at the Rubicon flag at 0530 tomorrow morning and await further instructions. Should any member of your team be caught, or fail to achieve their objective the Nan’tan will disavow any knowledge of your activities. Good Luck and HC now.”

My prerecorded message set to self destruct was played and I have no idea what No-See-Um did for warm up but expect pax were ready for their missions.

It was reported back that the mission was successful! I had no idea an FNG would be there so I do hope it wasn’t too scary and we see Ponch back for a more normal workout next week.
