First Second Watch

AO: Second Watch

When: 2025-05-20

QIC: Speedo

PAX (8): Cheneral, Macbeth, Manscape, Scar, Stroller, vertigo, Zohan

Preamble:

Launch day is finally here. That extra sleep I thought I'd get vanished when I woke up at 0430 and couldn't get back to sleep. The Gladiator men were well into their workout when I arrived so I took a tour of the under-construction park and wondered why Roswell waited until the weeks before summer to completely tear up ERP.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the splash pad parking lot for:
  • Weed pickers x10 IC
  • Hillbillies x10 IC
  • Copperhead squats x10 IC
  • Hangovers
  • Phelps

The Thang:

Speedo rarely travels near the rec center wall without doing some donkey kicks and today would be no exception. Mosey to the wall for some Donkey Tysons (or Tyson Donkeys) which consisted of a set number of donkey kicks against the rec center wall followed by 1/3 count of no-cheat Mike Tysons (on a curb, bend knees then back to plank and add a HR merkin at the bottom and shoulder taps at the top). We did:
  • 21 DK + 7 DT
  • 18 DK + 6 DT
  • 15 DK + 5 DT
  • 12 DK + 4 DT
  • 9 DK + 3 DT
  • 6 DK + 2 DT
  • 3 DK + 1 DT
Moseyed on the back pathway (normally treacherous in the dark but way safe today) to the pavilion by the pond. Roswell decided to tear this part of the park up as well so we crossed the safety tape to the pavilion for some lazy 11's. Pax were instructed to do 10 calf raises with a picnic table in hand in the pavilion then run up the stairs and do 10 big boy sit ups. R&R with 9+9, 8+8, etc. Next we moseyed behind the tennis courts to the coupon pile where pax were instructed to pick up an oversized coupon. From the zebra crossing we did carioca to the right up to the second light where we dropped for 20 merkins. Continue up the hill, this time with carioca to the left and do 20 dry docks at the top. Coming back down the hill we lunge walked back to the light and performed 20 merkins then cusacked back down to the zebra crossing for 20 more dry docks. Coupons were then returned and we moseyed to the pitch. Four corners - four exercises at each corner with a run in between:
  • Turkish get-ups
  • No surrenders
  • Sumo squats
  • Low deep squats
Along the way someone found a frisbee on the field so after four corners, we took turns throwing the frisbee and sprinting to it. Let's just say that frisbee is taught more in South Africa than in Israel. Back to the flag for about 2 minutes of mary.

COT:

Praises that F3 allows us to be freed to lead and start new AOs. Praises/prayers for the end of another school year. Prayers for our children to be protected from the evil forces in our culture that aim to lure them into lives that are less than God wants for them.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

I've been thinking about starting this AO for a while and am thankful to those who encouraged me and did the work to get it launched. Kudos to Knight Rider for tons of behind-the-scenes admin stuff to enable us to launch. And a special thanks to my dad, Tony Walsh, who helped me build the shovel flag. I assured him that the flag will outlast both of us since the men of F3 will carry it forward. I'm blessed to be a part of this community and I love you guys. --Speedo out
