PAX (7): FannyPack, Focker, Groundhog, Pinkey, Special K, Zohan
This is the second of 2 Qs I scheduled before BRR to make sure I got back to the real work. HCs were low, but Pax still showed.
Zohan and YHC walked in from our pre-ruck right at 5:30. YHC didn't even drop off the ruck before launching into the greeting, disclaimer, and mosey.
Mosey around the starting parking lot before SSH, Weedpickers, Toy Soldiers, Arm Circles and COVIDs.
A quick Wheel of Merkins (10 at each position) and the warm-up was complete.
Off to the Concession Stand.
We were fortunate enough to have the lights on at the Field of Dreams for 2/3 of the beatdown before groundkeeping cut the lights off. Oh Well.
Last week I led a Millennial Beatdown at the Boneyard, and after moderate success I thought I'd deploy it at Rubicon for Pinkey and his love of Millennials - but with a few changes.
10 sets of exercises, 100 reps each, after the first Pax finishes, everyone runs. Those are the standard rules. I also added "Pass the Parcel" with a 30# rucksack which Pax rotated amongst each other after each set.
Single Count Fire Hydrants (Lift one leg to the side like a dog)
Single Count Mountain Climbers
Single Count Lunges
Single Count J. Los
Single Count 1-Legged Donkey Kicks
We made great time through the sets and got to Burpees with 4 minutes and 30 seconds left in the beatdown. Pax pushed through the Burpees, but no one achieved 100 before YHC called for the mosey to the shovel flag.
A Mary of LBCs and Dying Cockroaches finished the beatdown.
No prayers, praises, or announcements to share, so everyone take care as we head into "beer season." - Pinkey
