F3 Pre-amble

Are you looking to improve your fitness and take on new challenges? Do you want to be a part of a supportive community of men who push each other to become their best selves? If so, then welcome to F3!

 

F3 is a free, peer-led workout group for men, and it’s open to men of all fitness levels. Our mission is to invigorate male community leadership through the invigoration of the leaders of our community – you!

 

Before we begin our workout, there are a few things we need to go over. First and foremost, we are here to support and encourage each other. We leave our egos at the door and strive to push beyond our limits together.

 

Secondly, safety is our top priority. Please listen carefully to the instructions given by our workout Q and modify exercises as necessary to prevent injury.

 

Lastly, we respect each other and our community. Please refrain from using profanity, and be mindful of your surroundings and the impact our workout may have on others.

The Thang:

YHC’s Bicycle Wheel of Fortune Workout

Are you ready for a challenge? YHC has set up a fun and challenging workout that will push you to your limits! We will be using a giant bicycle wheel of fortune with 8 spokes, each having a different exercise written on the card.

Once we finish the exercise at each spoke, we will farmer carry our coupons back to the hub where we’ll perform 3 burpees. Afterward, we’ll proceed to the next spoke of the wheel while we farmer carry our coupons back to the next exercise. We’ll repeat this cycle for 8 spokes and see how many rounds we can do in 35 minutes!

Most PAX completed 2 plus rounds, with a few managing to get up to 3 rounds! Imagine doing more than 552 reps including the Burpees every round! That’s a lot of reps with weight!

We had some good music and lively mumble chatter to get us through it!
