Upper Body Explosion

Preamble:

First off…Dreamer asked for this on New Year’s Day when he said “The Q sheet can always use some love. As of now, 1/12 and 1/26 are wide open.” So thank you to Dreamer for the invitation to Q, I look forward to being invited back.

Get out of the car 0442 for the pre-run, it is way colder than 37 degrees. 5 PAX set out for a reverse Centennial.

As the disclaimer was given (including PAX carrying cell phones and AED location), more cars kept arriving. No time to wait. Let’s go

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the parking lot outside the tennis courts. I think we did:

• 20 SSH
• 10 Weedpicker
• 10 Toy Soldier
• 15 Mountain Climbers
• 10 Mercans (OYO)

Mosey to the far end of the parking lot. Bear crawl to the other end, lunge walk back. OK, so Q forgot to point out what he meant by “other end.” Shorten it and bear crawl out, bunny hop back. One more round, this time running back.

The Thang:

Off to the pavillion. Everyone grab a bench. PAX completed rounds of:

• Burpee step-ups
• Dips
• Squats
• Dercans

Start with 5 each, then 10, 15, 20.

Q received mixed feedback on whether to continue (would we continue to 25? Go back down the ladder?), then continued with his own plan. Mosey behind the tennis courts to the crosswalk. Grab a large coupon for a Gorilla Complex.

8 curls, high pulls, overhead press, skull crushers, mercans. Quick run to the bottom of the hill (leave your rock!) and rinse and repeat. We completed 5 rounds, then returned our coupons.

Mosey back to the flag. We have time for a ring of fire (3 rounds). Then some Mary- Gas Pumper, LBC, Dolly, Rosalita. That’s it.
