12 Days of Morphmas

Preamble:

No better way to get ready for the holiday season than getting together with YHC for a little play on the 12 Days of Christmas.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey around parking lot with high knees and butt kickers. Warm up with SSH, weedpickers, arm circles.

The Thang:

Mosey to lacrosse field for a little 12 Days of Morphmas. YHC sang out the instructions. It was a pyramid work out where exercises were layered on top as follows

On the __ day of Morphmas YHC gave to thee:

1 half lap ‘round this lacrosse field

2 mans a making

3 hammers twisting IC

4 little babies crunching IC

5 monkey humpers IC

6 pickles pounding

7 burpees burping

8 crabs a caking IC

9 climbers climbing IC

10 Merkins merking IC

11 standing lunges IC

12 Carolina dry docks IC

(a surprise 13th day because my math was wrong – jump squats)

COT:

The pax reflected on a successful Santa Ruck. Upcoming Xmas Eve BD at Widowmaker with special family recipe eggnog. Feathers Boneyard/Hooch Holiday party on Friday! Pax and families still dealing with illness and Covid. Pax did 22 merkins for 22 veterans who commit suicide everyday in this country. May we each have the opportunity to intervene and provide help. We had a moment of silent prayer to reflect on a season of giving.
