Preamble:

In an urgent call for help, TO reached out to the Norsemen for someone to Q in his stead. With Callahan not in town, I was next man up. Being a bit overzealous, I woke up in a stupor at 12:35am, freaked out that I missed my Q, realized that didn’t make any sense, and then went back to bed. A great start in my opinion.

Warm-O-Rama:

A few others, including myself, mentioned that we were a bit sore from Ha-Ha’s Xmas beatdown on Tuesday, but there was no time to complain, so we moseyed to the parking lot, did a quick lap, and circled up. We did the standard warm-o-rama with side straddle hops, imperial walkers, and weed pickers. YHC didn’t let a counting gaffe affect his focus because it was time to mosey to the field…

The Thang:

The Pax lined up on the goal line for a Beast beatdown. I fired up K Billy’s Super Sounds Of The 70’s (Reservoir Dogs) and added in a little Dazed and Confused and Boogie Nights and we were ready to roll.

We ran to the 25 and did 10 merkins, ran to the 50 and did another 10, ran to the other 25 and another 10, ran to the goal line and back to the 25, 50, and 25 for 10 more reps each then back to the starting point for a total of 60 merkins. We planked for the 6 and then rinsed and repeated the same format for Plankjacks, Burpees, Reverse Lunges, Jumping Squats, LBCs, Mountain Climbers. I’m forgetting one of the exercises in there but that’s ok. Pepper commented on how he wished we did more burpees so I’ll file that away for another time…

COT:

We moseyed back to the flag and had time for some big boys and freddie mercurys and then DeLorean gave us all a parting gift with some wall sits.

Gaffe #2 as YHC was reminded to do name-o-rama. Pepper presented Chapter 11 with a gift from the pax in honor of his recent 2.0 (congrats Chapter 11!).
