YHC is grateful that his daughter went through her “princess phase” well before FROZEN came out, so much earlier that her go-to reference for singing “Let It Go” was while making/releasing rude underleg noises and odors. That stated, at 23 glorious degrees, it was definitely weather that was conducive to making a snowman, but it was also great for hardening the resolve of High Impact Men. Thus was the approach taken for this morning’s beatdown: Get warm, and get at it! With no FNG’s, abbreviated disclaimer given, and off we went.

The Thang:

  1. 11’s with bear crawls / walk lunges – Hand release mercans paired with monkey humpers, travel across the parking lost via bear crawls  and walk lunges on the return. Mosey to brick wall by the abandoned hibachi restaurant
  2. Tabata 1 – Combine step ups with sumo squats, AMRAP, for 20 seconds, with 10 second active rest of air chairs (8 rounds)
  3. Tabata 2 – A mucho chesto Tabata on steroids (and appropriate music – I MUST INCREASE MY BUST): Mike Tysons, Wide Mercans, Diamonds, Dercans, Ercans, Offset Right, Offset Left, Regular Mercans.
  4. Fully loaded Bloody Mary – Cycle through sets of 10 of American Hammers, Gas Pumpers, Flutter Kicks, and LBC’s. Each cycle starts with 10 buzzsaws and 10 second hold on low planks, then the individual exercise, then 10 second low plank hold and 10 buzzsaws.
  5. 25 SSH’s
