Muffler guy was early!

AO: Windjammer

When: 08/31/2022

QIC: False Start

PAX (6): Caroline, False Start, Stu, uga, Walkie Talkie, Mayflower

Preamble:

Nobody down for the Q, and I was going to just do a run, but something called me to the Windjammer.  So, we ran at the Windjammer….and did some other stuff too.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the dam.

SSH
Toy Soldiers
Hillbilly
Weedpicker
Arm Circles (Forward & Back)
COVIDs

Mosey to the boat launch.

The Thang:

The Thang #1

What’s that you say?  You haven’t done a merkin mile before Mayflower?  Well, you’re just in luck, that’s the first thing on the list today!

Run up Lake Windward Drive to Clubhouse Drive, with 10 merkins at each intersection (left or right side) and wait for the 6.

Run back down Lake Windward Drive to the boat launch, with 15 squats at each intersection and wait for the 6.

The Thang #2

Mosey to the boat launch where Caroline wanted to show off his coupon picking ability.  He’s gotten better, Mayflower however easily carried his coupon with 1 hand.  It was severely lacking in every aspect of it’s couponess…so Walkie Talkie had to step it up for the Ne-port PAX.

Colt 45s (curls, bent over rows, & overhead press) with a rotation around the circle to trade coupons at each exercise.  Once you finish 45, run a lap around the track.

We did this 3 times.

The Thang #3

We still needed more miles. My goal was over 3 today, so I divided the group into 2 groups of 3.  1 group would sit, the other group sprinted to the sports park gate and back.  Some PAX listened, 1 on group 2 didn’t, so it was left to me & Stu to contemplate the hard stuff in life while the rest ran and we wall sat.  Flapjack the group once.

Mosey back to the (pretend) flag that nobody brought today.

Some LBCs & Flutters for time.

COT:

Prayers for Mayflower’s mother as she continues to deal with loss around here.

Prayers of protection for over all those in BRR & Growruck next weekend.

Stu on the Q (love the ring of that) for a BRR-taper friendly BD at Nirvana this weekend.

We’re looking for service events in Alpha Central instead of monetary or food donations, please bring them forward if you have them.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Muffler-guy was early today, you can no longer set your watch by him.  We also saw no floating ducks today, what a disappointment.  I realize these mean nothing to those who don’t post regularly at Windjammer, but isn’t that the fun?  We can have these stupid jokes as a group, laugh a little bit, and then carry on.  Thanks men for always being there and pushing me.

Go Irish! Beat Buckeyes!

Until next time!
