Full Body Island Hopping

Preamble:

5:30 hit and three of us mosey’d to the lower lot for some warmup.  I was surprised Janeway wasn’t there because he knew I had a gift for him, but then he and Komrad flew in just as we were starting.  And look at that…here comes Lightweight running down the hill!  Now we got a group of 6!

Warm-O-Rama:

Busted out some hillbillies, weedpikers, WMH, SSH, Copperhead squats and sungods.

The Thang:

Matt Park has 2 huge parking lots, an upper and a lower, and each one has 2 long islands separated by a sidewalk.  So my plan was to explore around each island, stopping at every peninsula for exercises.

1st island – 10 peninsula’s with 6 burpees at each one, so 60 burpees, running backwards between spots.

2nd island – 8 peninsulas to explore with 10 mercans at each one. So 80 mercans, running karaoke between each one.

Mosey to the upper lot and the 3rd island – 10 peninsulas with 10 squats at each one.  The first side we did 10 lunge steps after each set of squats.   100 squats total.

4th island- 10 Alpha mountain climbers on the first side for 40 mountain climbers, 20 alpha flutter kicks on the other side for 80.

Ended at the coupon pile with some man-size coupons and 15 curls, 15 thrusters and 15 skull crushers.

Finished off with a gift for Janeway.   After seeing some good heated back and forth between him and Ace Ventura regarding Star Trek(Janeway) vs. Star Wars (Ace), I noticed a 3 pack of star trek socks while in line at Marshalls.  So how perfect for Janeway to sport the Captain Kirk socks during an Ace Ventura Beatdown!!  Throwing gas on the nerd fire!
Just kidding guys!   Now I know what the Yellow, Blue and Red colors in Star Trek signify.  Who knew?!
