Merkin Monday

Preamble:

Birthday Q today.  Q came prepared to work off the birthday cake from the weekend and PAX were ready to grind – most of which had some BBQ to blowout from the F3 cookoff on Saturday.

Mosey to the playground

The Thang:

Roll call – 2 at a time on the pull-up station for 5 pull-ups while others on decline merkins.  PAX were assigned to call-out their favorite birthday cake.  Creativity was so-so, but hey, it’s Monday.

Mosey to the turf field for the main event – 7 of diamonds.

Round 1 – 7 JLo’s at each corner, mosey in between and backwards run between corner 2&3

Round 2 – 14 flutter kicks at each corner, mosey in between and backwards run between corner 2&3

Round 3 – 21 merkins at each corner, mosey in between and backwards run between corner 2&3

Round 4 – 28 LBC’s at each corner, mosey in between and backwards run between corner 2&3

From the goal line, lunge the field length stopping for 2 burpees every 20 yards

From the goal line, long jump every 10 yards

From the goal line, backwards run and merkins every 10 yards

Mosey to the playground – 3 sets of 10 big boys and 10 picnic table shrugs

Mosey to the flag (stopping to hit the hill on the way), 1 minute of Mary and time.

COT:

Prayers for Windex’s dad who is on a ventilator and in failing health.  Prayers for GMonkey’s dad.  Reach out for support where needed – many PAX are dealing with or have dealt with supporting parental health issues.
