Preamble:
12 PAX beat the fartsack to strengthen their minds and bodies. Upon driving in, YHC noticed what appeared to be False Start’s FNG doing a pre-run from his house. RESPECT! 2 Pre-Ruckers came strolling in and 5:30am came calling. YHC gave a quick disclaimer and brief into to F3 for our FNG and off into the gloom we went.

The Thang:
Mosey to the boat launch. What is the best way to welcome a super fit FNG to the gloom? That’s right, a Burpee Apocalypse. 10 burpees OYO. Then 9 OYO, etc. all the way down to 1. After a few groans YHC did offer a get out of jail free card. The PAX would have to collectively agree on the 5 core principles of F3 in the right order. For each right answer, we would skip a round of the apocalypse. After 10 burpees the 1st core principle was asked of the PAX in order to skip 9. The PAX struck out by guessing the wrong order on the 1st core principle, but did recover to get the next 4.

Now off to the sports park for a full body circuit beatdown. 10 rounds doing it together on the 1st pass, then OYO on the next time around.

After round 2, time running out we then headed back to the dam for a sunrise mary session. Next, head back to the flag for 1 more minute of Mary.
COT:
Welcome FNG Commodore. He grew up nearby but somehow became a Tennessee fan. Considering Vandy has been the Volunteers biggest rival lately, we named him Commodore. And he is a former Marine, so it worked kinda well. Also welcome Irene to this side of 400. He has been posting to the Rubicon but lives on the east side, so it is nice to bring him out where he belongs.

5 PAX took advantage of Friday Fishing at the Windjammer and went out for some bass trolling. The captain and first mate were a bit clumsy this morning, so no fish were caught. That will change next week.
