Preamble:

Form is everything. Doing it right ensures an effective beatdown – one that is safe, challenging, and gets you stronger. Some beatdowns are fun and others…well…they just need to get done.

Warm-O-Rama:

Short mosey followed by 15 in cadence:

SSH, weed pickers, squats, mountain climbers

The Thang:

Mosey to the lacrosse field. The beatdown proceeded with a focus on maintaining good form at all costs.

Four(m) Corners

10 each of merkins, squats, big boys, burpees. Then 20 each. Then 30 each.

We used about half of the field (blue end line to blue line before mid field)

1) In cadence lunge walk followed by 10 in cadence dry docks.

2) Reverse lunge walk back and did 10 in cadence American hammers.

3) Broad jumps followed by 10 in cadence dry docks

4) Bear crawl back followed by 10 in cadence American hammers

5) hard run to the other end of the field

Mosey back to the flag and 15 J-Lo’s

COT:

We spoke about our kids going away to camps and various trips and wished them safe journeys and happy returns.
