A weeks worth of work

AO: Nirvana

When: 05/14/2022

QIC: lumbergh

PAX (14): Bottom Bunk, Caffey, Groundhog, HotSauce, MillerTime, No-See-Um, Special K, Sprocket, Stu, The Real Woody, TO, turkey, Tank

Preamble:

I was overdue a Q at Nirvana after storms stopped my last one, plus just generally skipping Saturdays.

I made an offer to pax to run stairs or run laps but a coordinated effort was made to tie the results so I made sure both were counted for.

A couple of ruckers and a few runners that kept trying to outpace each other.

Warm-O-Rama:

A mosey and then some SSH, IW, Mtn climbers, WP, arm circles

The Thang:

Bringing back a fan favorite only possible at Nirvana, we mosey to the line of buses. The Jerome Betts is bear crawling along side a bus. Then based on the four digit number you do Mercans, Jump Squats, LBC, and Burpees. After about 10 buses and many more burpees than LBCs we were off to the stadium.

A short admiration at the carpet designed by NoSeeUm.

My whiteboard waited which held five rounds of standard exercises with some various quantities and ending in a run up and down the stadium steps or a track lap (or both in the last 3 rounds)

Stu said try not to make sense of the numbers but he knows my style enough to know something was up. He was right but that reveal would come at the end (or just go look at the image)

Each round had: Mercans, Squats, Bonnie Blair’s, LBC, a Plank, SSH, and the mentioned laps.

After everyone made it through all rounds and even ran the steps a few more times we headed back to the flag where three more buses waited and so the Bettis continued til time.

I then shared that what the pax did at the track was a workout I found through Pinterest or somewhere that was meant to span a whole week. (with a few minor tweaks to F3 it up). But only at Nirvana can you fit it all into one day and then some. Strong work by everyone to complete the circuit.

COT:

2.0 beatdown next week

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Always a pleasure to lead and I truly appreciate the comments on my creativity. It is an area I enjoy brainstorming while still hoping I bring a tough beatdown. The low amount of mumble chatter suggests I accomplished that.
