Preamble:

Good afternoon Sirs,

As an addendum to my previous correspondence the following is intended as a true and faithful recollection of the events of 18 November in the year of our Lord Two thousand one score and one.

Upon the previous evening when at once it became evident that the established “Q” (The faithful and just Marshall Dunshire) had fallen ill – your humble correspondent did take it upon himself to accept the deputation from Sherriff “Ace” Ventura.

The plan was made for the Posse to ride well before dawn to carry out our vendetta.  Good Sirs, we recognized that our enemy was not unlike ourselves. In fact our formidable foe on this morning would be ourselves.

At the prescribed hour we rose and mounted our trusty steeds to meet at the rendezvous point. As your humble correspondent arrived he was greeted by a pair of fellow sophisticates – Lightweight “Texas Jack” Johnson and his partner “Wild Zane” Lifelock -two of the deadliest gunslingers in Northern Forsyth county.  Emerging from the tree line we also saw Ned “Buckshot” Flanders – his exploits are legendary.

As the time for our ride approached Sherriff Ventura arrived in a flurry of dust and wind. As he had brought along our provisions it was good to see his shining face in the early morning gloom.

We then set off on our journey to fight for justice, truth, and manhood.

Warm-O-Rama:

Just outside of town we prepared our rifles and Colt peacemakers with a few rounds of warm up target practice. As we fitted our gun belts and our ammunition we spotted a dark rider in the distance coming to join us. It was none other than Hector “El Guerrero” Suarez – they say he is the most skilled pistoleer in at least a 15 mile radius.

The posse conducted themselves well as they prepared for the coming showdown with:

SSHx15, Morrocan NCx15, Copperhead Squats x 15, and Good Mornings x14

They were then instructed to grab two guns – coupons – (one for each hand) and head into town.

The Thang:

As we moseyed into town we fell right into the gunfight. It was a burning Ring of Fire – with some Outlaw Johnny Cash providing the soundtrack. The posse approved.

At this point we began to exchange fire with the enemy. It looked like this:

Each gunfighter did a round of solo exercises while the rest of the posse did a group exercise. Once a gunslinger finished his round we moved to the next gunslinger until each member of the posse had completed each exercise.

Solo Group
10 Bird Dogs Shoulder Presses
10 Burpees Bicep Curls
10 Freddie Mercury Weighted Lunges
10 Superman/banana Hammer Curls
10 Plank Jacks Lateral Raises
10 merkins Tricep Kickback
10 Mountain Climbers Weighted Squats
10 SSH Weighted Glute Bridges
10 Squat Jumps Overhead hold
10 Curb Dips Air chair
10 Star Jacks Plank

COT:

Gentle sirs, we humbly submit that we have completed the vendetta and restored justice to the sleepy little town of Matt Park.

Your Humble Correspondent,

Danforth “I’m Your Huckleberry” Mixalot.

MOC – Ace provided a quote from Seneca “You can tell the character of a man when you see how he gives and receives praise” – A good reminder that we shouldn’t be continually seeking praise and that we should prioritize the giving of praise to others.

Prayers – Ace’s mom continued healing and Skynyrd continuing struggles with hip issues.

Coffeteria – Good conversation with everyone as usual. Good to see Flanders back with us.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Was truly flying by the seat of my pants and grabbed a workout that looked good. Will definitely re-use this format. As always, it is good when we struggle through a workout together. Thankful for F3 and this group of men who seek betterment every week.
