Preamble:
My name suddenly appeared on the Q sheet for Hoppylike Halloween so I knew pax wanted to have some more fun. I had to evolve last year’s event a bit for the new year.
As pax demanded it ended up coming with a history of Halloween on slack although I never actually got to how it evolved out of Samhain but we can pick up that story next year….
The Thang:
This year was a true trick of treat. If the pax caught me you pulled from my sack a:
Trick: M&Ms meaning 10 mercans or squats.
or
Treat: Almonds or Cashews for no exercise.
Both came with a challenge to Sprint (or 5K pace) back to Santa’s house before continuing your search.
I believe most found me and my fellow runner at least three times. Only once did we successfully evade trailing runners when Cookie and I ducked into an alley of electrical boxes that had a cut through.
