1 Year in East Cobb – Jorts’ Greatest Hits

Preamble:

It has been 1 year since YHC moved OTP and joined the Pax of Alpha/East Cobb so we celebrated with some typical “sadistic” (as quoted by the pax this morning) Jorts fun…

4 pax for a 2.5 mile pre-ruck (Sparky, Wideright, Steamer, Jorts)

Warm-O-Rama:

All in cadence x 12

• SSH
• Don Quixote
• Bear hugs
• Merkins (6 reps IC)
• Copperhead squats
• Weed pickers

The Thang:

Started with a mile run (3 laps around the loop at East Cobb Park) with 4 exercise stations – 12 reps at each station on first lap, 8 on second lap, 4 on 3rd lap

• Burpees
• Stage Jumps
• Merkins
• Bonnie Blairs (alpha count)

Mary for the six

Mosey over to the grass hill along Roswell road

3 rounds of uphill crab walk (crowd favorite) and downhill bear crawl

Mosey to the upper parking lot where YHC had left a few concrete blocks and 2 sandbags.

Pax partnered up with 5 pairs doing murder bunnies and 1 pair doing sandbag burpees

• Sandbag burpees, max reps in 60 seconds – one partner keeps time while the other does their reps
• Murder bunnies out and back for ~15 yards each way.  While one partner does MBs other partner rotated through 5 exercises (plank, squats, overhead air press, LBC, reverse standing lunge)
