Chatter in slack the night before, combined with overnight storms, meant we were all checking on our way to see if we’d be gathering at the AO or Secondary Location; the frequency of lightning strikes had begun to wane and at the park we assembled.
As the rain continued, twelve intrepid men gathered at the pavilion and awaited instructions.
Some traditional warm-ups out of the way, including SSH and WeedPickers, we headed out into the downpour. “Today, you will get wet” was the warning as we mosey’d around the paths back to the parking lot where the Q had brought coupons – #24 landscaping bricks. A couple of the men stopped by their own vehicles for #37 cinder blocks instead.
Today’s workout was intentionally not unique; as was explained, this was borrowed from a PitStop/Raptor workout from a few weeks back, PitStop borrowed it from a Pinky/Rubicon workout prior to that, and Pinky probably adapted it from a LilHurt/HotSprings, and back it goes… nobody should be nervous about coming up with something specially-themed or unique for their turn at the helm.
Start with 10 merkins, then 5 burpees, then run a lap in the rain.
Next do 15 squatThrustss, 10 Merkins, 5 burpees then run a lap in the rain.
Continue up the escalator.

Thankful for the drowned rats men who got up, looked out the window, and decided to venture out in spite of (or because of) the weather.
