It was a dark and stormy morning… actually just very humid. We got a nice mist (a la ‘the Coca-Cola Cool Zone’ from Six Flags) towards the end. This was a last minute recycle of YHC’s VQ.
After arriving RIGHT on time, we mosey’ed to the flag for a warm up.

10 Weed pickers (with some coaching on form)

Mosey to FOD
Part one: 4 (5?) Corners Escalator around the field. Starting at home:
20 Sumo Squats
40 Bonnie Blairs (modified to lunges as needed)
50 American Hammers (back at home)
Then de-escalate back around the field. The last four PAX at each corner station end early & advance to keep the group tight, AKA ‘final 4 catch up’.
Part Deux: Vicious Circle, 2x around the pitcher’s mound.
VC#1 was a bear crawl counter-clockwise around the mound, with the last man doing 10 burpees on the mound then going to the front of the line. Continue until all PAX have a turn. Consensus was Polar Bears would win in a fight against Grizzlies.
VC#2 was a crab walk clockwise, with 15 alpha-count Freddy Mercuries on the mound.
This combo goes right to the end of time. Solid showing by all & its always great when we can stay tight as a group.
Cartpath’s friend who was med-evac’ed from Mexico is doing well in a Miami hospital. Prayers for PAX who expressed the past 2 months have been rough emotionally/mentally, and he noted the positive impact F3 has had- a sentiment shared by all & encouragement to continue the F3 train. PSA: with the recent additions through divisions, we need to watch the Q Sheet & keep it full. Q’ing a beatdown is always an opportunity to grow personally- grab’em before they are gone!
