In my defense it all seemed like a good idea!
Wow, how a few days of warm can make 30 degrees feel so cold! Just a month ago this was normal. As 0530 rolled around Dr. Rico was the last to roll in (or so we thought) and we mosied toward The Francis. Through Nacho’s lighted trail to the parking lot for:
And then we were off to the cinder pile.
Everyone grabbed a cinder and we made our way through the brush to the track.
Do Farmers Carry This Much This Far?
Thing one today is a partner exercise. Partner 1 takes both cinder blocks in a farmer’s carry around the track while partner 2 does 10 merkins then runs to catch up to partner 1 and swap. Continue on for one lap around the track.
Callahan decided to run with his cinders to get it over with faster. However, this just got him to round 2 faster!
Round 2 same partners, same farmer’s carry but the exercise is now 20 LBCs
Round 3, rinse and repeat but with 30 squats
Dora to the trip hazard and back
Thing 2 for this morning is partner Dora with cinders.

Originally upright rows but they quickly modified to bent rows. These really were bring out the suck factor.
