At 630am YHC awoke a bit hungover after the amazing Duke victory but was driven by a force much stronger than fartsacking to lead these fine men today. I arrived at the AO minutes before the prerunners returned to the flag. A short disclaimer was given and we were off!
As we entered the middle parking lot mumble chatter regarding one of my previous Qs of 21s was mentioned in fear of a repeat…
15 SSHs IC
15 WPs IC
15 HBs IC
15 Rocky Balboas IC – This didn’t go as well as it did in my head
We moseyed to the top outdoor exercise area and a brief description of full MURPH was given. We modified slightly to the following:
20 Push Ups
Run down to the baseball concession stands and back
For 10 Rounds
This was an awesome workout and it pushed our guys in a great way! As I was almost the six after completing my 10th round I returned to an odd sight. Sox was awkwardly leading the PAX in a Suzanne Somers butt lift from the 80s. Mufasa asked the Q to please take back over.
As we had about 6 minutes left YHC gladly lead the PAX to a new coupon pile just down the street where we completed 50 Curls.
Short mosey to the middle parking lot for 20 big boy SUs.
With just 2 minutes left YHC had a last minute burst of energy to book it up the hill between the baseball fields for 20 step ups on the planters.
We moseyed back to the flag the long way around the fields.
Prayers for Vern, Spandex’s Dad

I reminded the PAX what MURPH represents in case they didn’t know. Michael Patrick “Murph” Murphy was a United States Navy SEAL officer who was awarded the U.S. military’s highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan. He was the first member of the U.S. Navy to receive the award since the Vietnam War. He died in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.
