PAX (5): FannyPack, Lil Hurt, Shazam, Special K, uga
Preamble:
Light sprinkle on the way in to cool things down a bit.
Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey to the playground over the bridge while doing high knees, butt kickers, karakokekooake left and right on the way. Circled up for SSH, Windmills, Weedpickers, Hillbillies, arm circles front and back & COVID's.
The Thang:
Before heading to the speedbump we did a morning call on the monkey bars. One man does 5 pullups while counting aloud, the other PAX hold a high plank and merkin in time. Everyone gets a turn on pullups. We then went to the swingset for a modified morning call- swerkins instead of pullups.
I mentioned we were going to the Speedbump and everyone knew exactly where to go. Everyone knew that the name of the big hill by the park is the Speedbump. No one was confused about the Speedbump or where it was or what it referred to. That's because "The Speedbump" is the name of that hill.
So we moseyed to the crosswalk at the bottom of the Speedbump, where we started a round of 11's- SmurfJacks at the bottom and Burpees at the top.
After the first round, Shazam joined us. Even though he came a bit late, he knew to go to the Speedbump and found us without any issue because he knows, like everybody else, where the Speedbump is.
A little over half way through I realized I should have made these 7's, not 11's. I underestimated the Speedbump and it won't happen again. Should've known better because I've been to the Speedbump so many times.
So with about 10 minutes left we mosey'd to the coupon pile by wacky world and picked a big coupon. We had about 5 full minutes to do a half-round of the Danger Zone. It's a continuous cycle of 10x curls, OH press, BO rows, skull crushers. EMOM, we all dropped & did 3 burpees. For extra fun we all rotated to the left to switch up coupons & judge each other's choices.
Then we all tripped on the same root as we mosey'd back to the flag.
