Like a fine scotch

Preamble:

I asked who was still in town and would be at Rubicon for my anniversary.

Typically that is regarded as your first f3 post. This was actually for my real anniversary which was yesterday as my M and I celebrated 18 years. (By celebrated, I mean worked all day and ate fried stuff for dinner)

Nobody inquired further so I could not share a wedding picture. Maybe next year.

Warm-O-Rama:

3 for prerun talking upcoming trips and races. Nothing like Spring Break (and probably a late night ball game) to get our numbers down. 4 more join us and we are ready to go.

A mosey around the upper lot with high knees and butt kickers. SSH, IW, and WP

The Thang:

Grab a rock by the pool and get ready for a circuit. The count is 18 all around and just keep going.

First station with rock – Curls, Shoulder Presses, and Skull Crushers

Run to another corner of the lot for Squat Jumps, Lunges, and Bonnie Blaris (after two rounds subbed in Mountain Climbers)

Run to the park flag for LBC, Leg Raises, and Freddy Mercury

Back to your rock and repeat until time.

Praise for good news with Stifler as he prepares for a career transition.

Someone asked what the secret to my marriage was. My answer today was this:

Take two people that don’t have strong opinions about most things and you just kind of do life together and it seems to work out. When there is a passion you support the other person in their goals.

I asked my M the same and she agreed but noted that we were friends first so that friendship is our base even if not everything else is working in sync.
