The Kodiak: Friday Edition

YHC had to miss Wednesday’s beatdown and this Friday happed to be an off day for our typical 3rd F at The Barn, so I hit up the PAX for an impromptu TGIF beatdown. 5 other HIMs defeated the Friday fart sack to join me. Here’s what happened…

We took a quick mosey over the home team’s bleachers where it all went down:

Warmup

– 15 Windmills IC

– Sun gods

– 15 Hillbillies IC

– 15 SSH IC

We went to the far side of the bleachers to make use of the pull-up bars and to get a total body workout:

Total Body Blast (5 Rounds)

– 5   Pull-ups

– 10 Hand Release T-merkins

– 15 Box Cutters

– 20 Stargazer Squats

After a quick 10 count, we positioned ourselves at the bottom of the icy Metal Mountains for our next exercise:

The CLIMB

All exercises done Kodiak count (R & L = 1), except for the burpees. Reps on round 1 were 1,2,3,4,5, and climb the mountain. Round 2 increases to 2,4,6,8,10, etc… until round 5 finishes with 5,10,15,20,25.

– Crab Cakes

– Lunge Jumps

– Imperial Walkers

– Mountain Climbers

– Burpees

Once the six was in, we moseyed back to the flag to grind out 2 more exercises… no Mary today:

– Mucho Chesto (10 of each merkin: diamond, normal, wide, right offset, left offset)

– Thigh Master (low lunge pulse, 10 each leg)
