Ha-ha Week Day 1: Pax – 1, Ha-ha – 0

Preamble:

Ha-ha week kicks off and he throws out a route with a number of out and backs so as to never leave a man behind. Thank goodness I don’t have to remember all that…until Ha-ha reaches out as he has been hit with a bug and running, for once, is not the cure. He asks me (lumbergh) to pick it up and ensure everyone knows the route.

The Thang:

“It would be so funny if Ha-ha didn’t show today” – Caffey’s first words to me this morning….

Huh, funny you would randomly say that.

Pax are starting to question things so I explain the situation and the route the best that I possibly can. Everyone just nods and suddenly I am encouraged to lead the way which pushes me to a near 8:00 minute pace as we hit the various neighborhoods around the block of Mayfield, Bethany, and Mid Broadwell.

It’s possible Scar peed like a dog in someone’s yard and then hit a cold plunge in a neighborhood fountain. I would be surprised if we didn’t wake up at least one person with our chatter. A few too many cars out this time of morning but everyone gets back safely (except Log Cabin who continued on back home)

Just prayers for Ha-ha’s recovery so that he can be out the rest of this week.
