It began as a nightmare….sometime in the wee hours of the night I vividly remember waking up looking at my watch clearly seeing 5:28 and I was still in the fartsack! Oh no! I got up, my M said, someone is calling you. To my dismay it was BabyFace asking me where the heck I was! Frantically I grabbed all my stuff in what seemed like a flash and took off to the AOC. As soon as I got out of my drive way I was immediately transported to my childhood neighborhood. I could not remember how to get to the AOC because the streets were very different – this was Mexico City I was in!!! OH NO!!! How the heck do I get to Creekview High School from here??? And then it happened…. I really woke up and breathed a sigh of relief as I confirmed the time from the phone at only 2:43am and rolled over and caught a few more hours of shut eye in the fartsack!!!!
WarmUp: As we all arrived on the scene it was slightly misty to start the beatdown. We moseyed around the lot and circled up for 14 count SSH, WindMill, Merkins and Gorrilla Humpers. 14 was used as a reminder to all of us as we are indeed MEN and we need every opportunity to remember that in 2 days we must celebrate the love of our lives on Valentine’s Day. The Thang: Partner up with each pair grabbing a sand-baby we moved over to the parking lot corner near the tennis courts where we set up 3 stations. Partner A would perform the exercises with the sand baby while Partner B would run a lap (estimated 150meters) at which point Partner B would take the sand baby and perform the exercises while Partner A ran.
Station A: 14 Merkins / 14 Rows
Station B: 14 Squat Kicks / 14 Curtsey Lunge Kicks
Station C: 14 Curls / 14 Overhead Presses
(2 times thru on each station before moving on to the next part )
Next, Partner A would run halfway around the circuit and drop down to perform AMRAP BBSUs while Partner B arms extended above carried the sand baby ZAMPORINI style (another great movie – UNBROKEN) to where Partner A is and swap out – Partner B runs to the starting point to do AMRAP BBSUs while Partner A ZAMPORINI’s it to the start. Perform 4 full laps. Upon completion, we carried the SBs back to the flag and circled up.
A) Ninja 100s consisting of 10 Burpees / 10 Double Squat Jumps / 10 Kodiak count Mountain Climbers 3 x thru and ending with 10 Burpees. LBC waiting on the 6.
B) for C-4 a modified version of his invention, we performed 4 full PLANK JACK CLAPPERS.
C) cooling things off with 5 count 2 point Bird Dogs.
D) 28 cadence count Flutter Kicks led by none other than the man, the myth and the legend BLOODHOUND!
COT: prayers for Paragon location issue, lunch opportunity for the men of Kodiak to gather 2F, and remember to pray for each other as we seek to honor our Valentine’s this week.
