So, I’m not exactly sure what it means when all of YHC’s MW brethren opt to fark-sack his Q, but here we are.  GMonkey was DR to visit his cousins Vance and Coy, Bronco pulling the “looming Q” card, Circus resting for a 26.2, Ariel at some god-forsaken place for work (again), Slim straight-up fart-sacking, and DD…well, I’m not sure where to start with him.  Nonetheless, with a Q on the calendar immediately following back-to-back coupon BD’s (including an inaugural “challenge” variety the day prior), YHC decided it was time to switch things up a bit.

Warm-Up:

Mosey along main park road toward large parking lot near football field for the following:

  • Mountain Climbers
  • Windmills
  • Hillbillys
  • Toy Soldiers

The Thang:

Given that YHC spent the past 2 days in the coupon-and-mosey locker, he figured it would be a good idea to work some less attended muscle groups.  That meant a rest for the pectoral, quadricep, and deltoid groups and plenty of work for the lattissimus , bicep, hamstring, and abdominal divisions.

Short mosey to the football field and partner up for round one of catch me if you can.  Partner A runs backwards while partner B does 5 burpees.  Once finished burpees, partner B runs to catch partner A and switch roles until 2 full laps of the field are completed.

Next up, another round of catch me if you can with a twist – partner A crab-walks backwards while partner B does 7 BBC’s.  Once finished BBC’s, partner B bear-crawls to catch partner A and switch roles until a full lap around the field is complete.  Plenty of mumble chatter with this one with early finishers crab/bear-walking back to pick up the six.

Once completed, mosey toward the playground (fetching a coupon en route) for some AMRAP circuits consisting of the following exercises:

  • 20 Romanian Dead-lifts w/coupon
  • 20 Single-Arm rows (body at an angle using swing set or gym apparatus)
  • 10 Reverse Elbow Push-Ups
  • 10 Pull-Ups

Rinse/repeat the above until Q calls time.

Mosey back to the flag for a quick round of Mary, consisting of:

  • Dying Cockroach
  • Merkins
  • Freddie Mercury

COT:

  • F3 Alpha convergence this Saturday (10/20) at Rubicon (Wills Park), 0700 sharp.
  • Fond farewell to Pony Boy who is headed DR to his new AO in the ATL.  Great having you at The Wreck.
