One-Hit Wonder

Preamble:

Rewind a year or so ago.  A good buddy of mine named Erich was eager to see what this F3 was all about.  I EH’d him to the Widowmaker where I also happened to have the Q that morning.  So, he made it out that morning.  But…..   the one-hit wonder named Milli Vanilli would go into hibernation for a year before making it back out for his 2nd post.  Today was that day.  6 other PAX would join him for a trip around Sharon Springs Park.

Warm-O-Rama:

We started with a long mosey into the dark gloom, the winding path eventually stopping at the first sign of daylight.  Circled up for:

1. SSH
2. Imperial Walker
3. Weedpicker

The Thang:

Just a short mosey over to the big ass grass hill.

• 1st up was Hill Dora:  grab a partner, 50 merkins, 100 squats & 150 LBC’s.  Run up hill backwards every other trip.

The mosey continued around the park, this time Indian Run style.

• Next up was DB drills in the long parking lot.  Then same coming back

Keep moseying, this time stopping at the concession stand wall.

• Balls to the Wall – holding for 45 seconds, extra bonus for 15 more seconds

On to the main course at the football field.

• Burpee Crawls:  bear crawl to 10 yd line, do 1 burpee.  Bear crawl to 20, 2 burpees…  all the way to other goal line doing 10 burpees.  Getting back we did same format but with Crab Walk and Big Boy situps.

Off we went back to the missing flag for 1 minute of Mary

COT:

Prayers for those men in our community who need something like F3 in their lives.  Praise for Milli Vanilli’s leap of faith quitting his corporate position and starting his own business!  2nd F this Thursday at Cherry St BrewPub at Halcyon.  F3 Alpha Convergence Saturday 10/19 at the Gladiator.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Will Milli Vanilli continue to earn his reputation as a one-hit wonder, or will he post again this week?  He has given me an HC for the Rubicon tomorrow, so we shall see!
