Snow and 29 degrees did not stop 13 PAX from posting at the Kodiak this morning. YHC did some digging on the F3 mother site to find new exercises for this morning’s beatdown in the snow. We may not have delivered the same type of grinding beatdown the Kodiak is known for but we definitely had fun. Plus we bonded as a team in ways I would rather not speak about (one time at band camp…… never mind)

6 merkins, 6 mountain climbers, 6 shoulder taps, 6 LBC’s, 6 squats, 6 burpees then run 30-35 yards. Rinse and repeat for a total of 6 sets.
Mosey to a big area of unadulterated snow for the first ever (I think) Kodiak Tunnel of Love. YHC is thinking of renaming this the Kodiak Birth Canal. Yes I like that. Pax lines up in plank, shoulder to shoulder. First man belly crawls through the birth canal. Rinse and repeat until each member of the PAX crawls through the love tunnel, birth canal, whatever tickles your fancy.
Mosey to a new area of fresh undisturbed snow. This is where things got interesting. Body parts were touched that we wish to not speak of and share in public places. PAX lies down shoulder to shoulder on there backs. First man lies on his back and the PAX must pass him all the way down the line. Someone from the PAX suggested we lay face down. We quickly reprimanded him and swore we would never speak of that again. Although very awkward, mission was accomplished.

Pray for YHC’s cousin. He has been diagnosed with cancer. The doctors has diagnosed him with a few weeks to live. His name is Shane Phelps. Shane is married and has 3 daughters. UPDATE – I found out today that he had enough strength to leave the hospital and drive to the church with his family. She accepted Christ today. Shane was able to get in the pool and baptist her. We rejoice in God giving Shane the strength to be with his daughter for the most important decision of her life. More importantly we celebrate her decision to surrender her life to Christ.
