Dirty Hook Up (in more ways than planned)

When: 12/04/2017

QIC: Home Boy

PAX (): Babyface, Homeboy, Wham-o, Chitwood, Spaceballs, Bloodhound, Legionnaire, Law Dog, The Mole, Misty, Cricket, Dori, Pulte, Woody, Banjo, Harp, Mystery Man, Naty Lite, C4, Swisher, TitleMax

21 PAX showed up on Monday morning ready for a beat down. Without any pre-planning, The Mole contributed to the overall theme of “Dirty” by crop dusting the PAX all morning with his rotten gut. Some time during partner wheel barrels, we lost a member of the PAX. We have no idea who it was but we think his departure was related to back pain or the disgusting gas being emitted from The Mole throughout the beat down. To the unknown fallen soldier: we hope you are OK. Whether it was a back injury or you wanted to puke from rancid smells (or a combination of both) we stand with you!  The Pax rotated in calling cadence during the Dirty MacDeuce. Great Job! Excellent Q development is happening throughout the Kodiak!

Here are the “Dirty” details on the Hook Up:

Warm Up

Mosey to the front bus loop. Stop and do 10 Burpees OYO. Mosey again. Stop and do 10 merkins.

COT

We had a lot of prayer requests this morning. I failed to record everything, but we know our Father in Heaven hears and knows every prayer.  YHC finds great solitude in that truth.  Banjo reminded us that Christmas season is an amazing time of year for most of us, but can be a difficult time for others – how true. The Mole completely redeemed himself after his morning of digestive issues. He reminded us that Jesus accepted all of our failures and shortcomings at the cross. It is not our responsibility to carry that anymore.  The work has been done and Jesus paid the price. Finally, YHC shared the importance of being selfless as a leader.  Here is the passage shared with the PAX:

Consider how the seed must go down into the cold ground then it splits open before growing outward and giving back to the earth. What an excellent example of how we must die to ourselves before we can give our best to the world.
