The Chain Gang

When: 11/24/2017

QIC: I-Beam

PAX (): Huggie Bear, Soybean, Betty Crocker, Gingivitis, Thumper, Hattrick, Crablegs, Squegee,

The Wreck had a delayed start for the post-Thanksgiving feasts and YHC showed up at 0530 for some pre-WO setup.  Pulled in the parking lot to two Pax hammering out some Imperial Walkers.  Two out of towners, Gingivitis that has become a regular when in town and Huggie Bear. YHC let them know about the delayed start and they moseyed while I got the chain gang setup.  It was about 4 minutes until 0600 and all the Wreck had to show was myself and 4 out of towners, but at the last minute we had 4 other Wreck regulars post.

0600 and we moseyed to the flag at the pond.

Mosey to the Gridiron for the Thang

YHC had the cinder blocks in the back of his truck still and wanted to figure a way to keep using weight and resistance in the WO.  With the holiday week, Friday would sure be a small crowd, so I thought I would bring out the chains and use them to drag cinder blocks.
Break into groups of 3 for a modified DORA 1-2-3
Burpees-BBSU-Squats

#1 pulls cinder block w/chains from GL to 50
#2 at GL begins DORA
#3 at 50 begins DORA
(each keeping a count at the GL and 50 which really makes it a team DORA 2-4-6)

After #1 pulls sled to the 50, #3 pulls sled back to the GL, and so forth until as a team DORA 1-2-3 has been completed at the GL and the 50.

The Pax took this WO to the grind stone and on the way back to the shovel flag we had time for a simple 7s on the B.A. hill (Merkins and LBCs)

At the flag each visiting Pax called the exercise for the final MOM.
