How do you keep a bunch of guys warm in the cold gloom? Keep them moving and working. How do you run 3 miles in 45 minutes in a parking lot? One lap at a time! Oh, and keep them dancing with #TheGirlfriends!
0530 rolled around and 8 HIMs where ready to go. At 32 it is 12 degrees warmer than yesterday’s 20 degree workout. A disclaimer and we are on our way to the big lot.
The playlist for the morning was The 90s. I needed to play some tunes the “younger crowd” would recognize. So I started us rolling with “All The Small Things” from Blink 182 as we:
Deep Squat Stretch
The musical version of Dora was on tap for the men this morning. The Girlfriends came out and we partnered up. Partner 1 performs the exercise for the song while partner 2 runs across the parking lot and back then the partners change roles. This continues until the song ends. New song, new exercise.

Community Thanksgiving Service next Thursday night, 7:00 pm at Alpharetta First UMC. The local churches come together to give thanks as a community with a combined choir with members from all the churches. Crikey will be bringing the message.
It was a strong group of men out in the yellow glow of the parking lot lights.
Missing Groupie. He was up in the dark last night doing yard work! I guess when the M speaks you better listen!
Peyton! Where you at?
Crikey is killing it for an RNG! Way to go!
Props to Nacho for making it out while he is recovering from a cold. Get better Nacho! He was still looking fast, though.
Callahan was back after after being MIA on Tuesday. Could it have been the cold rain? Nah! Callahan would not let something like cold water slow him down!
Legos was back and looking strong as was Pumba! These guys are machines and just keep pushing.
Mufasa was visiting us in the gloom. Always good to see the Big Cat up from the southern reaches of The Alpha. And Beaker was there as well which made for some interesting friendly competition between two of Alpha’s strongest and fastest.
