BLIMPS Surround Shadow on Election Day

Preamble:

On a crisp cool 35 degree morning, 11 men Voted to start Election Day off with a nice beatdown.

Warm-O-Rama:

Since our AO is an actual voting location, today our gathering spot was the Poll Pole.  All exercises were done I.C. x 12

•  Side Straddle Hops
• Low Slow Squats
• Windmills
• Tea Party Merkins (T Merkins)
• Cast Your Vote (Elbow Plank Reaches)

Mosey around the parking lot.  On the way uphill towards the school, we finished the last 50 yards or so with an Elephant Walk (Bear Crawl but alternating side to side only moving your arm and leg on one side at a time).  Lined up on the wall of school for 10 Donkey Kicks OYO.

The Thang:

Mosey to the corner of the football field by the scoreboard.  Performed BLIMPS all together at first corner so we could see the order of the exercises.  BLIMPS (short for Burpees, Lunges, Imperial Walkers, Merkins, Plank Jacks, and Squats) exercises were all single count:

• 5 Burpees
• 10 Lunges each leg
• 15 Imperial Walkers
• 20 Merkins
• 25 Plank Jacks
• 30 Squats

After completing the exercises we ran 3/4 of the way around the track to end at an adjacent corner of the field and repeated BLIMPS OYO.  We did a total of 4 circuits so we stopped at all 4 corners of the football field and finished back at the first corner.  Very impressive work by Green Bean and Diablo!

Mosey to flagpole for Mary.  All exercises done I.C. x 15.

• Frog Crunches (LBC but extending legs out at 45 degrees when shoulders go down)
• Dying Cockroach
• Mason Twist
• Low Dolly
• Heels to Heaven
• Flutter Kicks

Mosey to Memorial Garden.

• Dips I.C. x 11
• Jump Ups x 11 OYO
• Dips I.C x 11
• Step Ups x 11 OYO
• Dips I.C. x 11
• Step Ups I.C. x 11

Run up and down stairs with arms up.  10 Hand release merkins at the bottom.

Mosey back to upper parking lot.  Finished with Grateful Dead, 15 LBC’s I.C. and 15 High Dollys I.C.

COT:

Gopher reminded us all to vote.

Stripper took us out elegantly.

Potter has 5:30 Q Thursday but we still need a 6am Q.
