On the first really cold morning (still not below freezing though), a dozen hearty souls gathered at the newest Shadow AO for another Seles beatdown.
13 Side Straddle Hops, 13 Standing Lunges, 13 Peter Parkers, 13 Mary Katherines, 13 Low, Slow Squats, 13 Merkins, 13 Toy Soldiers, 10 Baryshnikovs (ea. leg), 7 Dry Dock Crabs i.c.
Mosey on Trail on the east side of the park to the Grass Ellipse
Warrior lunges across the Ellipse
Mosey to the Skate Park for various bear crawls on the ramps
Mosey to the turf field on the far west side of the park
Sequence of exercises:
Start at top of the 18 yard box on the east end of the soccer field. 5 hand-release merkins then run to the top of the 18 yard box on the west end of the soccer field. 5 hand-release merkins then run back to start.
Same process but 10 ABCs
Same process but 15 Sumo Squats
Same process but 20 Merkins
Same process but 25 Heels-to-Heaven
(Out of time but YHC had planned to go to 50; YHC always has difficulty timing these 45 minute sessions vs the hour-long ones!)
Mosey back to Start
Manhole took us out. Need one Q for Thursday.
Love the turf fields and the new AO! It was also great to have some light for part of the workout due to the time change. SYITG!
