Tricks AND Treats

AO: The Bridge

When: 10/30/2020

QIC: Dinghy

PAX (10): McGuire, Boomer, Feathers, Homer, Birdie, Popper, Meatball, Ready-Mix, Puff Daddy, Dinghy

Preamble:

With YHC running his VQ, was a little hectic working to shepherd the PAX to the right  location. Turns out it that it really does take teamwork to run the full show, ’cause otherwise we would have: a) Been 2 minutes behind vs.  1 (Thanks Boomer!) and b) Would have put some unnecessary scuffs on the brickwork (Thanks Feathers!).

Four for the pre-run (YHC was too busy fiddling with the lava lamp). The PAX came packing with their coupons and gathered at 5:30(1)  to hear the standard disclaimer, and maintained good social distance throughout.

COT:

We sent up praise to Our Heavenly Father for protection during the recent weather. We sent up prayers for His assistance in helping those who were less fortunate, that He would help them in their recovery from the storm; for the continued blessings and protection for our families and friends; and that His will be done with the upcoming elections.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

It was an absolute honor to be entrusted as the Q for the AO this morning. I have never left an F3 BD thinking to myself, “Gee, that was easy. Wish the Q had done more to make us sweat.” It’s a tribute to the Q’s who step of every day to lead, and truly an incentive to prepare, to give of your best, and not to leave anything on the field. The level of effort this morning was tremendous, and I was personally inspired and reminded that this truly is a “team sport.” Never leave a man behind, and that especially applies to the PAX providing gentle nudges for someone on his VQ. I look forward to many to come!
