Who wants some Merkin?

What a morning for a VQ beatdown at the Gladiator.  The morning chatter was unusually quiet and after we got started, it somehow got quieter.

Warm-O-Rama:                                                                                                                                      A short mosey around the parking lot, CoP – Side Straddle Hop, Merkin (only did 3 – saved those for later), some American Hammers, Mountain Climbers and then some more mosey down to a rinse-n-repeat Dips and Derkin session by the pavilion.  A suspicious white truck entered the fray and we thought an FNG would jump out and storm the PAX, but not to be…just a passerby.

The Thang:                                                                                                                                                A Merkin Ladder was first on tap and after 210 Merkins later, the Pax was good and warm.  A good ole fashion Circle Burp followed by a Fire Drill had us all pumped ready to tackle a Jacob’s Ladder.   We ended with a good 6 minutes of Mary and couldn’t tell if Viking or Brownie won the sprint…too close to call.

COT:                                                                                                                                                              The Pax gathered and spoke about those who need to be lifted up and ways we can help support our community.

Sox gave info regarding 9/11 Heroes Run: https://www.travismanion.org/community-engagement/911-heroes-run/2018-atlanta-ga/  as well as prayers for his good buddy up north.

I really enjoyed the VQ this morning but more importantly, I enjoy the PAX and the hard work and support each man gives each other.
