Beautiful Labor Day weekend and what a great way to kick things off for what looks to be a Magnificent weekend (Low 60’s with manageable humidity!) It goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway, Prayers for those in harms way in FLA with Dorian approaching!
French names for the PAX? Well a few of the PAX met some nice elderly ladies (runners) at coffeeteria that are training for the NYC Marathons and the DuMadoc Marathon in France. This marathon involves drinking fine wine, cheese and oysters along the marathon route in the Bordeaux region. This tickled Fireballs fancy so thus the French names for the PAX!
Warm up Mosey out the back of Austin and rights back into the platform of Pain for SSH, Windmills, Mary K’s, LSSquats, Stone Mnts, Mtn Climbers, Merkins (single count) IC x 15 then IC x 10
Mosey to Scouts street 1st Cul de Sac on Left: for a small short but sweet crowd Pleaser: At each Cul de Sac (3 of them) 5-10-15 Merkins, Squats, LBCs, next Cul de Sac 10-20-30 Merkins, Squats, LBCs, next Cul de Sac 20-40-60 Merkins, Squats, LBCs. PAX kept together on this Crowd Pleaser. At the last Cul de Sac we mosey’d up to the infamous Leaf Bag (About 100 yards below the top of the hill). From here we Bear Crawled, Warrior Lunged and Broad Jumps 10 x each for 3 rounds until we hit the top at Chamblee-D’Woody road.
Cherokee Run with 5 Merkins off the back to Wynterhall Swim and Tennis finishing at the the top of the Parking lot, then walk over to benches beside the tennis courts for 5 rounds of 3-6-9-12-15 Steps up (Double count) and Dips (single count), At each set we would run down and around the lot and up the stairs. (A Scout exercise) Good work by Boules de feu, Hachette, and Haricot vert!
Mary down on the entrance below the stairs, for 4 sets of 20 reps: My Box Cutters, Heels to Heaven, Low Dolly’s and Low Flutter Kicks and 1 set of 15 reps of American Hammers.
Mosey up to Roberts, reassemble and Cherokee Run back to platform of pain. Nothing off the back. Good work by PAX all the way back.
Wall Squats with alternating leg touches IC x 30, followed by B to Ws with upside down plank jacks against the wall, IC x 20.
Finish with a 40 Sec Plank on Platform of Pain to finish up.
